This wreath is assembled using floral foam, which requires special care to keep it looking festive.
- Soak the base regularly To keep your wreath fresh and perky for the holiday season, soak the base in approximately 5cm of cold water once a week. Drain properly before hanging back up. In extreme heat, increase this to every second day to prevent the foam from drying out.
- Water as a centerpiece If your wreath is being used as a centerpiece for your table, water it over a basin every couple of days, making sure the floral foam stays damp. Adjust frequency depending on the weather.
- Mist daily Lightly mist the foliage and berries daily with water to keep them hydrated. Take care not to mist dry elements and rose petals, as water can damage them. A hydrating solution specifically for cut flowers can also be purchased and used as required.
- Temperature control Display your wreath away from heat sources and direct sunlight. A covered porch or cool indoor location (18-22°C) works best to help it stay fresh longer.
- Maintenance Handle with care to reduce shedding. Remove any damaged elements to maintain the wreath's shape and color.
