Flower Care Instructions

Trim the stems
To keep your flowers hydrated, trim the stems at a 45-degree angle, cutting ¾ to 1 inch off the bottom. Do this every 2-3 days so the stems can take in more water, keeping your flowers fresh and vibrant.
Use clean water and change regulary
Dirty water can cause bacteria to grow, shortening the life of your flowers. Refresh with room temperature water and clean your vase every 2-3 days before refilling.
Add flower food
Adding flower food to the water helps prolong freshness by providing the necessary nutrients. You can also make your own with a mixture of water, sugar, and a touch of bleach.
Temperature control
Keep your flowers in a cool, stable environment, away from drafts, heating or cooling vents, direct sunlight, and sudden temperature changes. Flowers thrive in cooler temperatures (18-22°C) and avoiding heat sources or fluctuating conditions will help them stay fresh longer.
Remove wilting flowers and foliage
Gently remove any dying or wilting flowers to keep your bouquet fresh . This helps prevent bacteria and mold from spreading.Also remove any leaves that sit in the water, as they can decay and contaminate the water.
Avoid Fruit
Keep your flowers away from fruit, as ethylene gas released by ripening fruit or decaying plant matter, accelerates the aging of flowers.
Mist the petals
Light misting the petals and leaves can help keep them hydrated in drier environments

I only chose Bloomable!
The bouquet is magic. It meant so much to the person receiving it, it was vibrant beautiful flowers that were fresh. No hanging buds. And Bloomable’s service and attention to writing the card is always amazing.
One request I would love if Bloomable can do it - send a picture of the bouquet being delivered to the person sending. Some receivers never send photos and you are blind as to what was received. That would make the experience even more special.
